Billy Butler or Garrett Atkins?

Who should I pick up? Billy Butler or Garrett Atkins? I have Chris Davis as my starter now but his strikeouts are starting to kill me. I won't drop Davis but think he might be better off on the bench right now. Thanks. WHIR!

Since you're going to plug this pickup into your starting lineup immediately you almost have to go with Butler. Atkins is in a season long slump that he hasn't shown signs of breaking out of yet. Butler is at least putting up respectable numbers.

In the long run, I'd want Atkins, but he'd be just as big of a detriment to your lineup in the near term as Davis is currently.

He is getting better and better.
If you think Davis is killing you, you do not want to touch Atkins. He is in an unreal slump right now and it does not seem like he is getting out of it for a while.

Someone dropped him in my league and he cleared waivers and I grabbed him so I am hoping he can pull through.
