Quick Help Please!

I need to drop a player for a roster space. Should I drop Ian Stewart or Matt LaPorta? Right now they are just bench players to me, but I hope one or both of them will catch fire. Who is the better keeper?

I guess the worst thing one can do is put "Quick" in the subject line.

I think you keep Stewart or drop them both and look for someone better on the waiver wire. I think Laporta goes back down to AAA this year again.

That was my thinking. If Stewart got 500 AB he would be on pace for 35 HR and 100 RBI so I know the power is there. He just needs to hit. Plus h has multi position eligibility. I think LaPorta might be the better hitter overall, but not right now.

With Atkins down, Stewart will get regular playing time. I'd add him.
