Who will be better

Hanson or Tillman?? I have an option to trade for either one longterm keeper league.. Age is 21/22 Ht6'6//6'5 Wt 220//185 both seem great who do you guys think will be better in 1 year/3years/Career??

Tommy Hanson has to be the favorite right now, regarded higher as a prospect and doesn't pitch in the AL East for the worst team in it.

Hanson's stuff is better, doesn't face a DH, and doesn't face the Blue Jays, Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays offense all year long (yikes!).

obviously hanson seems to be the better prospect right now but i think tillman is not all that far off- if hanson and tillman were in opposite organizations i think i would take tillman over him b/c he doesn't have to face that deadly AL East with the Rays Sox and Yanks and even the surprising Jays

I wouldn't say Hanson's stuff is exactly better. Tillman is a year and 8 months younger than Hanson. Tillman is putting up better numbers at AAA this year than Hanson was at AA last year when he was 21.

But yes Hanson will play in a better park, in a much lesser hitting division, and more importantly the NL. Also we all know how awesome the Braves are at developing pitchers. Which to be honest they haven't had to do in quite awhile...

No he's not. (Unless you're only looking at ERA)

And Hanson definitely has better stuff than Tillman - more velo on the fastball and a nastier curve.
