Stash Smoltz while still on DL?? WHIR!

I have an open spot on my DL, but with the way Yahoo works i think it'd cost me 2 transactions: 1st i'd drop Randy Johnson to add smoltz. then i'd have to move smoltz to dl and re-add unit. is it worth it? we have a season limit of 20 transactions. do you see him possibly being better than randy or anyone else on my staff?

I like Smoltz, but I have doubts that he's is worth 10% of your transactional moves this year (plus another move to get him off your DL). With about 20+ weeks of play you're limited to about 1 move per week. I don't think you can afford to give up 3 in total for Smoltz.

Smoltz could be a viable option at some point but right now he's too expensive in terms of all the moves you'd have to make to add him. Plus, while he may help later it's also quite possible that he won't and I'd hate to see you use that many moves and then have the guy not contribute.
