I'm trying to upgrade at SS and get some better depth at RP so here's the deal that's been offered. I give Lopez, Gonzalez, and Aardsma for Tejada, Wells, and Cordero. It's a H2H league where we keep 7. The Lopez/Aardsma part of the deal is a no-brainer I'm just not sure about giving up Gonzalez. Thoughts please? Thanks. Offensive: R, HR, RBI, AVG, SB, E, K Pitching: W, L, S, K, ERA, BS, BB C: McCann, Baker 1B: Pena, Adrian Gonzalez 2B: Phillips, Hudson 3B: Longoria, Huff SS: Tulowitzki, Felipe Lopez OF: Braun, Torii Hunter, Hawpe, Span, Markakis, Granderson, Jose Guillen SP: Billingsly, Gallardo, Kershaw, Lackey, Jered Weaver RP: Paplebon, Lindstrom, Aardsma

I would not do it either. A.Gonzalez is the major player in this deal...especially a Keeper League. You could probably do better.

What if it were Lopez/Huff/Aardsma for Tejada/Cordero? You guys like that any better or is it still a no. C: McCann, Baker 1B: Pena, Adrian Gonzalez 2B: Phillips, Hudson 3B: Longoria, Huff SS: Tulowitzki, Felipe Lopez OF: Braun, Torii Hunter, Hawpe, Span, Markakis, Granderson, Jose Guillen SP: Billingsly, Gallardo, Kershaw, Lackey, Jered Weaver RP: Paplebon, Lindstrom, Aardsma

I really dont like the first deal. That would not be smart in a keeper because Gonzo is young and a very powerful hitter.
As for the other trade it doesnt really help you. You already have good closers so no need for Cordero. Also Felipe Lopez + Tulo tandem will be more beneficial to you than Tejada.
help with mine? -

Adrian Gonzalez is the best player no one talks about... he is always a steal on draft day because of his team and their home park .. if you are a decent salesman, you could probably go after a guy like rollins + a mid level closer if you propose gonzalez + aardsma i would think so. .
