Mudville,
I'm not sure if you know what ur talking about, #1 Wieters is a catcher with below avg speed. we're talking 5 SB in a good year. And if he hits 65 Homers he have a heck of a lot more then 139 RBI's. And I assume those predictions are over a full season, so your looking at closer to 40-45 homers and 120 RBI's.
My prediction is 40 homers 120 RBI's and 2 SB's.
Ummm, yeah, I was not being serious (thought it was obvious....guess not).
I was just having a little fun with yet another Matt Wieter's prediction thread. Here's my real prediction: He'll be up at some point during 2009, sooner rather than later, and he will be very good. He's the very definition of "Elite Hitting Prospect". Expect power and more-than-solid OBP. Once he gets the call I fully expect that he will be a top 3-5 fantasy catcher for the remainder of the season. If you've held on to him for this long, it wouldn't make much sense to consider dropping him now.
(BTW, in Barry Bonds' 2001 season when he hit 73 HRs, he had 137 RBI's....just sayin'

).
