Hey all,

Well.....I don't think I am mental but really need advice on this trade. I received an e-mail with a guy in my league (after we have been going back and forth on trades) and he is willing to trade.....here is the offer:

My: Granderson/Ellsbury/BJ Upton

for

His: A.Jones/Billingsly

This is a Yahoo 12 man Roto league and I have been getting negative points almost everyday and I think my pitching needs help. He is currently in 2nd place and I am in 7th.

He said he would pretty much take this offer and he doesn't want any pitchers back because he has alot of pitching depth. He is only looking for Offenseive guys (he has two 2B guys already so I can't give him one of mine since I have 3 and have had no luck getting rid of any of them either)

So.....do I pull the trigger on this one or get another pitcher from him (Halladay, Bedard, Franklin, Cain)??? Thanks and WHIR!!!

Well....I really like Adam Jones (and he hit yet another long ball today) and from what I heard Billingsly is a pretty nice addition.

BJ.Up and Ells never start for me so they are pretty much useless.....but if Grandy and the others are too much then what other pitcher should I include in the deal (since he doesn't mind giving pitchers) to make this a fair trade?

So.....what if I had him change it to Halladay instead of Billingsly? Or what about I give Granderson and only 1 of Ellsbury or BJ Upton??? Just want to figure this one out that makes it a fair offer or even somewhat a tiny bit in my favor because I don't want to get ripped here.

I think you are giving up too much as well but if you really don't start Ells and Upton mayne you could simply deal one of them for a pitcher like Billingsly?

You're giving up too much here.

If anything it should be a 2 for 2.

Something like Granderson/Upton for Jones/Billingsley.

You really need to move a 2B though, why not just offer up Cano or Hill and a OF to a team that needs a 2B?

For starters....I have tried offering Ells or Upton for a pitcher of even less quality then Billingsly and got turned down on every corner.

As for the 2nd poster....I tried trading Cano (or Phillips/Hill) straight up for a pitch, 3B, OF of medium quality to the guys who are lacking a 2B guy and still nothing. Tried even adding one and both Ells/Upton. Mainly the guys who don't have a 2B either don't get on to check their league (usually due to being last place) or want to major, MAJOR rip me off so..... not sure what to do here!
