I've been offered Wainwright for Bruce. I have fell to some bad luck lately as I dealt Phillips for Fielder. The problem was the day the trade went through I lost Rickie Weeks for the year. I've offered up Bruce to multiple teams for 2b, 3b and rp with no luck. I have a ton of pitching and was thinking of trading a couple of pitchers to help out with my 2b and 3b problem. Should I do this trade or stay pat. Keep in mind that Bruce is on my bench and no one else really wants him. 14team 5x5 H2H Redraft league. Currently in 1st and the 2nd and 3rd place teams stream pitchers daily so having alot of pitchers would not be a bad thing when I play them. My team: c. Soto 1b. Pujols 2b. Polanco ss. Jeter 3b. Reynolds lf. Holliday cf. McClouth rf. Markakis ut. Fielder b. Bruce, Nady (DL) sp. Sabathia, Peavy, Billingsley, Meche, Ubaldo, Masterson, Hill, Para, Wang(DL), Dice-K(DL) rp. Rivera, Hawkins, Marmol, Zumaya, Hanrahan
You have a pretty good team. Especially in the starting pitching department. I don't think you need Wainwright. Your RP situation doesn't look too pretty so I would try to move Bruce for an RP if possible. If you can't, try to trade him for a 3b. Help... viewtopic.php?t=386139
Thats the problem is no one wants Bruce. I've explored the 3b or rp angle but I get no takers. Thats why I'm considering this trade to gain another pitcher, so I could trade one or 2 for a 2b, 3b or rp. It just seems in my league Bruce is not tradeable except for this.

Gotcha. Then I would do it. Wainwright said he fixed a mechanical problem by lowering his release point quite a bit and it showed his last outing so it would not be a bad trade. Go for it.
I think I would hang on to Bruce. Instead you might look at moving one of your other OF for a 2B. Markakis has been on fire and you might be able to land Pedroia or another top position player. 2-1 trades are hard too pull off when you are trying to get the best player. The first thing to do is look for a team that has depth at 2B or 3B and then make an offer for their best player at that position.
