Sabathia Trade WHIR

trade- K Rod, Soriano and Saunders

get- Marmol, Sabathia, Gutierrez

My remaining OF on my team would be Sizemore, Holliday, Pierre, Dye, Taveras, Bradley and Gutierrez we start 4 OF each day.

My RP would be Carlos Marmol, Francisco Cordero, Ramon Ramirez, George Sherrill, Huston Street, Brian Bruney and Shawn Kelley we count holds and saves 53/240 RP games used so far.

MY SP would be Sabathia, Santana, Lackey, Carpenter, Carmona, Nolasco, Pelfrey, Porcello, Happ.

I could careless about getting Gutierrez should I take the offer since Marmol is a really good RP and Soriano and Saunders is a very great deal to get Sabathia? Or should I counter and ask for Wells or Adam Jones instead of Gutierrez? Fantasy points 12 team keeper league will very large keepers.

Will WHIR for anyone. :-)

Thanks for the help with mine.

I would ask for Jones or Wells. Might as well start high and then you can work your way down to Guitierez. I think it's a solid deal for you. I don't like Saunders at all.

I think you are paying too much. CC is good, but will not match his number from last year. And playing in NY is going to hurt him a bit.

I would definitely ask for more in return. But even then, I wouldn't count on Sabathia being the pitcher he was in Cleveland. He's still a big-time talent in a big uniform, but I wouldn't expect greatness from him as a Yankee.

I'd consider not making this trade at all, honestly.

Ditto. I love Sabathia, but I dont think Soriano and KRod are worth him honestly. Marmol is doing good now, but closers have a way of losing their usefullness as a season develops, and there is competition in Chicago. And if you arent getting someone useful for the third guy, why even make a 3 person trade. If you can get Adam Jones this deal will be in your favor, if not I dont think youre getting what youre giving

Help with mine?

Update I just looked over the rosters and he can't even trade Marmol because the guy who owned the team last year franchised him. So I sent a counter of..

Moustakas
Saunders
Soriano

for

Sabathia

What do you guys think of that? I got plenty of kids so Mous doesn't really matter to me and it might entice him into doing the trade?

Do you really need CC? Your pitching staff seemed stacked as is. Soriano for CC (basically what you're countering with) seems pretty even, but I personally don't think you need him.

I would rather have Soriano over Sabathia.
