For the record. Rafael Perez was quite good last year. Go look at the numbers.
His velocity was good... He was reaching 94-97 mph all the time.
The problem was with his location.
He'll be fine.

Who would be the best option if I was going to reach for a guy that could replace Woods if he were to lose the job/get hurt?

I'd say Jensen Lewis is a better pickup than Betancourt, but it's a tough call...

I stand corrected, Perez was pretty good last year according to the stats. This year is a totally different story though. Didn't they send him down to AAA recently??
