Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I have grown quite disgusted at Jay Bruce and his horrible inconsistency. It got to the point where I never knew when to sit him or play him. One day he'll hit a home run, then go 5 days without a hit it seems. For example, I sat him tonight...and of course he hit a homer. I was trying to dump him for a 1B to relieve me while Votto deals with his issues. Here is what came through.
I give:
Jay Bruce OF
Brian Wilson RP
Joe Saunders SP
I get:
James Loney 1B
Milton Bradley OF
Carlos Zambrano SP
I already dropped Bradley for Dontrelle Willis (I live in MI and am a huge Tigs fan... and he looked solid pitching 6.1 shutout innings tonight)
So how did I do? Obviously if Dontrelle doesn't work out I can drop him for another reliever after the loss of Wilson.

Its a gamble. For you to get the better of the trade Bradley has to stay mostly healthy for the rest of the year, and Zambrano has to come around. IF those things happen, you'll have come out ok. I do think Bruce is the best player in the trade, and thats who I normally think wins most trades.
Help with mine?

I like the Bruce side of that deal. You dealt the best player in the deal along with an average closer. I think Zambrano will be OK and Loney is alright, but I would prefer Bruce especially since Loney is only replacing Votto while he's out. I think you needed more in return especially since you dropped one of the guys you got in return.

Ah, misunderstood the Bradley thing, was thinking he had him, dropped him, the other guy picked him up and dealt him back. I like Bradley over Dontrelle, so lodge me further onto the Bruce side of the trade.
