Strugling... how can I improve?

My team is going through a rough patch, stuck in sixth place with a losing record in my 10 team 8x8 h2h league (extra stats are h, total bases, and k's for hitters, and L's BB's and HR's for pitchers). I'm stuck in 7th place or lower in every hitting category but HR (first) and SB (4th). My staff is pretty dominant though, esp. when I don't pitch Kazmir. How can I help my team, especially in contact stats: avg., Total bases, and k's?

Bn: weeks (worried about the wrist. Is he done? drop him, or dl him?)

P: Gallardo
Bn: Vazquez
Bn: Kazmir

some interesting options availible, since its a shallow league:
Hitters: D.Lee (WW), Thome, Dukes, Butler, Blalock, lowell, la porta, morgan, rasmus, and gamel
Pitchers: Scherzer, marmol, percival, ryan, duke, meyers, and young

I would drop Swisher for Lowell personally, also Weeks is done for the year so he can be dropped, maybe pick up Butler or a guy with good upside like Laporta. Overall your team is pretty stacked. Hanley, Utley, Arod, and Fielder thats a hell of an infield. Maybe you can afford to trade Kazmir for something now considering your starter depth. Remember it's early in the season and it really hasn't started to heat up yet, weather wise. You can make some minor moves but overall I think your team is good enough to be at the top in the end.
