Which OF to drop? Lind, Ellsbury or Justin Upton?

Postby stymie38 » Mon May 18, 2009 5:55 pm

8-team non-keeper (10x10). I have a glut of OF's, and will have to drop one of them when Frank Francisco comes off the DL.

Braun
Hamilton
Ellsbury
Dunn
Lind
J. Upton

Braun and Hamilton are clearly untouchable. I like Dunn because he's also 1B-eligible, and he's my only back-up to Adrian Gonzalez.
That leaves Ellsbury, Lind and Upton.
Thoughts?

not so sure - it obviously it between Lind and Upton, but I remember Upton going through a hot stretch to start the year, then faded into a non-factor - tough call in a non-keeper

I'd try some quick trade offers before dropping Lind. Somebody out there would want him. Of course you'd have to package him with someone else to make room for Francisco. Just a thought.
