Postby bcbhockey68 » Sun May 17, 2009 6:47 pm

OF Curtis Granderson (Det - OF)
OF Carlos Lee (Hou-OF)
Util Justin Upton (Ari - OF)
BN Brad Hawpe (Col-OF)

i like you getting sizemore. but i don't like trading granderson and lee for a sp. i'd keep granderson, then with braun, granderson, and sizemore, you'd have a killer OF. plus, hawpe for the UTIL spot. instead, i'd try to give lee and maholm for an upgrade at 1B. does the guy with loney have any other 1b?

He has Hank Blalock so no not really at least worth trading for. Don't you think I need to upgrade my pitching though?

I would probably sit tight. Tex is going to be a stud with AROD behind him.

Keep in mind that this is a Keeper league and Tex is 29 and not going see a big increase in any catag. in the future. Sizemore on the other hand is 26, entering his prime, and has a very good shot at joining the 40-40 club and if he ever gets his average in the .290-.300 range were talking about a top three player (and I'd feel like an idiot if I missed on that), anyone agree?

True - but you are also giving up a 21 year player with a ton of upside in Upton.

I would not be keeping him because I can only keep 5 and IMO he has not proved he is a keeper yet.

Keep Tex and Upton. Talking about a 29 year old like he's about to fall off a cliff any second now is nuts. I think at least 4-5 seasons of more 30/110+ plus production is a solid return.

Loney is also awful so it's not a good 2009 trade either, plus you have millions of outfielders.
