Any thoughts on picking him up now, he seems to be heating up:

3B Garrett Atkins went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the second straight game Friday, further evidence that Atkins has finally found his swing. Atkins has had three three-hit games in his past four starts, also going 3-for-4 on June 14. He doubled on his first at-bat Friday and singled on his next two. Those three at-bats came against LHP Dallas Braden, giving Atkins 12 hits in his past 24 at-bats against left-handed starters, with three home runs.

I would still stay far away. ABs are going to be hard to find for Atkins when interleague play is over.

Play at first base? I think that if he goes to the Mets I will drop him. A coors aided batter in the Mets new homer drought ballpark doesn't sound pretty.
