Drafted teams last night. H2H points league, non keeper league.
HITTERS DO NOT RECEIVE NEGATIVE POINTS.
These two teams have a trade agreed and it needs to go through the league first.

It is not the worst trade in the world but IMO it is pretty bad. Caberra is relatively unestablished, meanwhile A Jones is a legit power threat and a very good OF. I do not really like to veto but this is a money league and team 2 didn't even show up for the draft and is now making out in a trade!?!? I don't like it. Would anyone consider vetoing?
Sorry but it isnt one sided enough to consider vetoing it. 3rd base is deeper this year than last but Cabrera's 3rd eligibility helps push it through as well.
"Son we would like to keep you around here but were trying to win a pennant this year."
It isn't a good trade, but Cabrera has 3B eligibility and he had such a tremendous postseason and these factors have him being drafted in the top ten rounds, occasionally as high as round 6 or 7 in most competitive leagues. Andruw is a legit OF, but he still isn't even sniffing so much as round 2 of fantasy drafts. It's bad, but not that bad, and I'm pretty conservative about these things.
Right, I will have to agree but needed the cafe's insight first. Just peeves me to see a one sided trade in a money league. not heavily one sided but one sided
And I think that Caberra has potential but not massive potential this year, and it is not a keeper!!!!!
Arlo if Caberra wasn't eligible at 3rd would you consider vetoing?
I don't see that you can say Cabrera is certain not to have 'massive potential'. Everybody has potential. Some more than others though!!
He is a bit less power but, according to a glowing review somewhere, he sprays line drives all over the place which is supposed to serve him very well in Florida's freaky field. He's presumably going to continue to get stronger. We'll see how much he did over the winter in a few weeks.
Here's one blurb from last year. It may be that the recent thing I'd seen was on ESPN and is now 'insiders only' or some crap.
Personally, I like Cabrera better than A. Jones (of course I just hate Braves as a rule).
But certainly not vetoable...
Cabrera being double eligible helps his cause.
sometimes what looks crazy can actually lead to league title case in point last year the guy who took the league title traded away Rolen and Pedro for Pujols
