Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I have top waiver priority in a pretty competitive league and David Ortiz was dropped. It's possible a player of his (supposed) caliber won't be dropped again all season. If there's a good chance he'll turn it around then I'm gonna do it, but if he's going to keep stinking it up, it's a waste of my top priority, big name or not. What do you think? Worth the risk?

He was dropped in my 12 team league and he cleared waivers. He is nothing but a name at this point. You should let him say an FA

Even in my AL only ,10 team, Big Poppie has cleared waivers.
IMO there are much more exciting prospects coming up than Ortiz. I would pass on Poppie.

Nope, but if he clears I would take a chance if it means dropping dead weight.
