Pick up Ugly Uggla?

Postby D.Piston » Sat May 16, 2009 10:58 pm

So, Uggla got dropped but I don't blame the owner who dropped him. Now, I have to decide if I want to take him on and hope for some reward. 2nd base is my weakness, so would you take him? If so, who do I drop?

I'm worried he's hurt or something. He's been terrible lately. I like being able to slide Felipe all over the place...He's 2nd/3rd/SS/OF. But, if most people here believe he will turn it around, I'll have to take him and make the switch. Anymore thoughts out there?

I would definately pick him up....he will produce eventually!!!

Someone had just dropped him in one of my leagues as well and I picked him up immediately as soon as Delgado hit the DL (and may be out for quite a while)....I figure that my bases are covered as I have (Howard 1B, B.Roberts 2B, Huff 3B with backups as Scutaro, C.Blake and Uggla)....I only played Delgado at Util sometimes and so Uggla will produce eventually and I can stick him there if warranted!

Pick him up now as he will do a fine job.....soon.....as in "Very Soon"

Good Luck!!!

Well, I dropped Felipe and picked up Uggla. I hope you're right and he does great things soon. VERY SOON.

It's after your decision so my input is too late, but I agree with the above posters and IMO you did the right thing...I have him in several leagues and wouldn't think to get rid of him. Good luck.

Thanls for the reinsurance. I appreciate it. I think if he does bounce back, my team will have the most power for sure.
