My EJackson/NSwisher for his MYoung

Postby gmq » Sat May 16, 2009 8:17 pm

Beltre at 3rd is pissing me off....MYoung intrigues me, but EJackson also intrigues me, he's done very well for me so far, and he could be breaking out. It's a 6x6 roto keeper. If I were to do this trade, I would keep Beltre until he starts producing a bit and try packaging him to a team needing 3b.

I do this in a heartbeat. I play in a very competitive 10 team league and Jackson was a FA untl earlier today.

Can you help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=385435

I jump all over this if I'm you. Nick Swisher, in my opinion, is nothing more than waiver wire fodder. He had a huge April, but as everyone predicted, he fell off. He's hitting .111 this month with 17 strikeouts in 36 ABs. He is what he is, a guy who will get hot, and then fall off a cliff. Love me some Edwin Jackson, I picked him up early on, and he just keeps on going out there and giving quality starts with legitimate strikeout numbers. With that being said, a top 5 SS is worth more than Jackson will be this season.

Your pitching should be fine regardless with the quality names you have on your staff. I think this deal is great for you value wise, and if it goes through, I might look to trade one of Michael Young or Hanley Ramirez to improve your overall club.
