Having watched him throughout the series against the Sox, it is notable that this guy has a significant upper-cut in his swing. It's tailor-made for hitting deep home runs and he was murdering the ball on Sunday. The triple he hit to dead center looked like it was going to be pop fly when it came off his bat.
FWIW, I also doubt he will keep up what he is doing over the long haul and I entirely expect his avg to come back to Earth in the .265-.270 range. However, I think he will be a great source of HR and RBI as long as he continues to hit 4th in the TEX line-up. I'm going to ride him for all he's worth
