Have been searching high and low online for the average weight of a Canadian nightcrawler (larger variety of earthworm). Need it for an outdoors column I'm writing about worm-gouging. I am tempted to go buy some worms and weigh them myself, but figured that an online search would be cheaper. So far, though, no luck.
Only thing I can find is that an average nightcrawler weighs about 1 gram. Surely the Canadian version can't weigh much more than that. Unless the Canadian ones are the ones from Tremors.
Thanks for looking. I've searched the web high and low -- and even did a Yahoo answer question, to which I got minimal response. Knew I could count on the cafe.

An African swallow or a European swallow?
