It is easy to say that after he had great numbers his first year in the majors after not setting the world on fire in a number of years in the minors.
You can't write him off this year though. There are many examples in sport of players lifting their performance levels when they make it to the big time. Some guys just love been on the world stage.
Muhammed Ali looked awful at times in fights against no name boxers, but razzled and dazzled when he had to against Frazier, Foreman and co.
I also think less pressure is put on older guys that have a lot of minor league experience and then make it to the majors, than a young rookie looking to make the grade.
