Tough call. I think you win the trade (A-Rod will be a beast from here on out), but you're pitching staff will be a bit rough without Halladay. I absolutely hate Dice-K this season. Does he have another pitcher you can ask for?

He does have CC but I don't think there is any way I can work him into the deal; the rest of his pitchers are not that interesting...

I just think with Dice-K you're paying for his name. There's no chance he matches last year's era. No one that walks that many batters (he led the ML last season) can have an era under 4. Last year was a fluke IMO.

I agree with you; trading for ARod is always tough to pass up, but my pitching would be suspect.
