I think it's reasonable and it might get the job done. I'd take it.

With the way Lind has been playing, I think it's fair on paper. Based on past experience, maybe not so much, b/c we know what Hart can do. Still, I think it's a fair offer, and I'd do it.

If my counter isn't enough should I try to go back to Berkman/Ibanez for Howard/Hart???? I want Howard but Berkman for Howard won't work. What would be a decent counter? Should I may be target Inge and play him at 3B? I am hurting at 3B big time right now.

why not offer berkman and lind or ibanez to the guy who has zimmerman at 3B and ask for a 1B in the deal too? i'm not sure if he has a guy you're interested in, but i agree with you about your need at 3B. inge is a nice option too, as is sandoval in my opinion. they wouldn't require as much in return in a trade as zimmerman.
thanks for looking at mine. i posted a comment to you there:

The guy who has Zimm also has Pujols...Berkman isn't getting that deal done. The guy who has Sandoval really tough to deal with. He is the kind of manager that always wants and never gives!
