Is it time to drop Ortiz yet?

12 team Dynasty league with 6x6 Yahoo scoring.

Tried offering Ortiz for just about anything with no takers.

Should I just drop him to pick up some young potentially future stud? He has been on my bench for at least the last 3 weeks.

I wouldn't drop him yet. He can't go homer-less all season, and he can get on a pretty nasty hot streak when he gets going. If it's the beginning-middle of June and he still hasn't produced yet, then see which top young FA's are available. Despite his struggles, I feel it's just a little too early to drop Papi.

What would he have to do to get back into your lineup?

If he has a .350 week with 3 homers, would you activate him? It depends on how much faith you have in the guy.

I think at this point, in a league that shallow, I would drop him since there is probably someone with more upside.
