Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.

I read win7 will be able to run older programs as if it was on XP. They are almost finished with the downloadable beta version of it I believe.

They should, but obviously they won't.

Windows 7 will definitely be compatible with everything sooner or later. I just like XP too much to be an early adopter, but once it becomes the standard I'll probably switch. I wouldn't have any doubts about buying a new computer that comes with Windows 7 pre-installed though. It is a really good OS even it's beta stages.

In layman's terms, what makes it better than XP or Vista?

Faster starting up and shutting down. Easy to install drivers (Everything worked without installing a darn thing myself) I've put it on 4 or 5 machines and Windows 7 just worked without touching it.
Less annoying security then Vista. Really slick. New BIG taskbar. Hoevering over an icon on the task bar brings up a preview window.
Easy to find things by typing in the name of whatever on a serach bar. Cool gadgets.
