He should post your question here: http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=29 .

Your pitching is not that bad. I like the look of your team. However, we need to know what kind of league your playing in before we can give you a fair assessment of your potential for success.

First off this belongs in a the Rate my team forum, but anyways...

You have a very nice core group of hitters
1B J. Giambi (NYY - 1B,DH)
2B A. Soriano (Tex - 2B)
3B H. Blalock (Tex - 3B)
SS M. Tejada (Bal - SS)
LF L. Berkman (Hou - LF)
CF V. Wells (Tor - CF)

You also have a nice group of high upside youngsters
Util C. Crawford (TB - LF)
BN Á. Berroa (KC - SS)
BN R. Baldelli (TB - CF)
BN M. Cabrera (Fla - 3B,LF)

One thing I really like is your catchers, where you where probably able to grab them late/cheap, but get two sleepers with multiposition eligibility.
C M. LeCroy (Min - C,1B,DH)
BN C. Wilson (Pit - C,1B,RF)

You also have two junkers on your offense
RF J. Burnitz (Col - LF,CF,RF)
BN E. Young (Tex - 2B)

Your pitching staff isn't going to win the league for you but it wont prevent you from winning, its solid but not great

Only SP I don't like is Meche

Your RP could go either way
RP J. Nathan (Min - RP) (if he keeps the job should do well)
RP J. Julio (Bal - RP) (most solid of the bunch)
P F. Cordero (Tex - RP) (if he keeps the job should do well)

It would be helpful to know who is on your waiver wire,

I would dump, Burnitz, Young and Meche for 3 players on the wire.

shortsavage, thanks for dropping a post...The leagueis like a roto 5x5 league but they added losses and errors so it's 6x6 roto league...we have, C,1st,2nd,3rd,SS,LF,CF,RF,DH and for pitching it is 4SP,2RP,1P...WITH 7 BENCH SPOTS IN THE LEAGUE...

When I drafted I took a few players like Berroa at SS even though I had Tejada because he fell so fart down the draft same with Rocky and Magual Cabrea... I took them instead of the pitchers that i may have needed...

Burnitz could be a Monster in Colorado. And I'm pretty sure there wont be anyone on the wire worth taking over that possibility. You need some big years from an unproven staff.

Sorry I'm new to the forums i didn't know were to post... I just read them and i saw that a lot of you guys were high on Lecroy,Wilson,Rocky,Migual and even reyes but reyes got grab quick...

The thing about E.Young was when i got him late in the draft i thought it was M. Young so I will get rid of Eric as for Burnitz he is in Colorado and I think he will hit a lot of BOMBs but i know what your saying I think I could trade Tejada for a decent SP and a RF, but at the time he was the best RF availble...

Waivers by ranking are, E. Martinez, White,Loretta, Casey,Matos,Castilla,Catalanto and the Pitchers Lawrence,Thompson,Gordon,Ortiz, rogers and Anderson...

hey who is that pitcher I hear about his name starts with an A i think it's Affeldt or something like that...I have seen afew post about him is he any good?

Affeldt is supposed to be pretty good. He has had alot of problems with blisters in the past (kind of like Beckett) so he is a risk. But they removed a finger nail and that seems to have cured the problems. As far as I know there haven't been any blisters in ST. And playing for a Royals team that has a pretty good offence and playing in the weak Central division may help him out a bit. I have him on most of my teams cause I like the potential. Another guy you may want to check out is Edwin Jackson. Plays for the Dodgers and is highly touted. Jake Peavy is another thats getting some hype around these parts. I like all of them but they're not really big secrets anymore. I'd be surprised if they weren't drafted.

One pitcher that no one is talking about: Kris Benson. He's added a new pitch, cutter I think, and there is alot of trade talk about him leaving Pitt. I read another poster say something about this years Loaiza.

Hope this helps.

I agree drop Meche and E.Young.

You could pick up Thomson who should be pretty solid in Atlanta. He had a very good record last year all things considered.

No one else on that list inspires much confidence. :-t

I'm sure there are other pitchers available ranked lower that would be good pickups.

Guys like Eric Milton may still be there if most in your league are going off yahoo rankings.

First thing is to drop E.Young and pickup Edgar Martinez. There is no way Edgar should be on the waiver wire.
