Trading Berrkman (possibly) --WHIR

THE TRADE - I trade Berkman and get R Oswalt

REASON FOR MY TRADING - I have a bad feeling on Berkman this year, I drafted him 2nd overall. I am looking to solidify my already outstanding pitching even moreso.

PROS AND CONS - (Pros) Adding Oswalt to my staff of CC,Peavy,Gallardo and RJ is pretty wicked. I have Delgado as a fill in for Berkman and I have A Rios to plug in that spot (utility role) in case Delgado goes down on the DL. (Cons) Am I jumping the gun too early on Berkman? This trade makes sense to me and like I said I have a bad feeling with Berkmans production this year, I think my backups are more than sufficient and I would get more out of Oswalt plugging him in my 5th pitcher slot rather than my weekly changes of filling that spot and getting shelled constantly.

Heck no.

1. Berkman will turn it around and put up decent numbers. Have patience.
2. Delgado is hurting as well
3. You could get a much better pitcher for Berkman
4. You're already deep in SP, why do you need more?

No way you are definitely underestimating berkman. Ride him out.
