Drafting TOM GLAVINE in the 7th RD

My Pitching staff so far is B Webb
A Pettitte
R Wolf

should I take a flyer on Him or is he DONE?????

He is done. And the 7th round is WAY too early for him. He is a 23rd round pick at best.

Glavine should be taken no earlier than the 20th round, in a lot of leagues, he's on the WW

7th round? Yuck.

All of Glavine's vital numbers are trending in the wrong direction. I'd say he's done. But even if he does return to form, he's not a big K guy and he's on a bad team, so he's not worth anywhere near a 7th rounder.

do we really need to make a starter list and show where glavine should be taken, that would be painful

I've done 6 drafts so far - 4 mock and 2 league drafts - the average Glavine selection was round 21. I got him in round 24 of one draft and I felt decent about it.

Some guys that went round 7 in those :

Huff
Giles
Zito
Kent
Kevin Brown
Beckett
Oswalt
Clemens

All of which are better options than Glavine.

I drafted him in the #22 Round of one of my keeper drafts. Was either him or David Wells. :-o

Hmmmmm . . . . maybe I should have taken Wells. :-?
