My hitting is what is going to bring me the gold but I'm looking to upgrade my very weak pitching staff. So would it be better to deal bench players like Hawpe and Beltre for Cain or go for a stud by dealing Buck, Granderson or Lee (he needs OF BAD) with Oswalt (or someone else) for his Lincy and Baker (catcher)?

i'd try dealing hawpe & beltre for cain and someone else. i wouldn't give up one of your studs. your pitching is okay, but cain could give you a better ERA and a few wins if his team will score for him.
I like the idea of trading bench players for Cain if you can. But looking at your team a move that I would consider is dealing Pedroia for a stud SP that is keeper worthy. Honestly I think Pedroia played a little over his head last year in terms of power numbers. I really think Lopez will put up numbers that aren't too far off. I would go for a Pedroia for Billingsley or someone like him.
I could probably get Zack Grienke for Pedroia straight up, the guy loves hitting, and accepted the trade with a bunch of other stuff but it got vetoed in like the 2nd week of the season.
Grienke would most likely get accepted, but Lincecum would be really tough because the owner drafted him with the 9th pick and therefore most likely overvalues him. Another option would be like my Pedroia for Beckett and another pitcher because the guy is playing DeRosa at 2nd.
