Anybody watching the Yankee game? Did they just pull Hill to give him some rest and because they r down soo much, or did he get hurt?

Wondering the same thing. I can ill afford another injury on my team with Aramis Ramirez, Ryan Doumit, Brandon Webb, and Cris Carpenter already on my DL, I have no spots left.

They did it at the change of the inning so I really just think it was to give him some rest since he has hardly had anytime off this season so far. I just found it kind of weird since he was 0-2 when they pulled him and he had a 10 game hitstreak going. But managers don't care about stuff like that I guess. I hope he didn't get an injury he has been unbelievable thus far.

Here is from ESPN game box score.

TORONTO'S AARON HILL LEFT THE GAME IN THE FIFTH INNING DUE TO AN APPARENT FOOT INJURY.

He fouled a pitch off his shin so hopefully no serious damage. The Jays were losing at that point so it's probably better to just let him rest. The broadcaster in TO thinks he will be day to day...finger crossed as Jays fan!
