Yeah, I'd agree with that. Cuddyer is competing with so many other good players, that he's less likely to start. Bay, if he starts out well, could be a real star. Dye could rebound, but I always prefer to go with the young guy on is way up, rather than the old guy hoping to heal.
I agree with the order. Plus, even though Cud is going to be playing 5-6 positions for the Twins in a reserve role, he still isn't guarenteed to make the team as of yet.
Jermaine Dye spent the winter working out in Tempe.. (same place Vernon Wells worked out last winter, and Nomar did while rehabbing acouple of year past) It is a world renown sports conditioning center.. They say... Jermaine Dye is in incredible shape, and more hungry than ever before.. He already had impecable work ethic, and now if he is "In the best shape of his life" and can stay healthy... He will be the comeback player of the year, and put up very good numbers hitting 4th in Oakland.. .300 30HR's and 100 RBI's with 80-90 runs is very obtainable for Dye...
Jason Bay COULD be very good.. but we know what a helathy Dye can do.. Personally I would get both
But if I had to pick one.. Jermaine Dye would be my choice..(at least for the first half of the season )
