pop is correct

"Pop" is correct if you're talking about your dad. If you're talking about carbonated beverages, the correct term is "soda." :^

WRONG.

The correct answer is "soft drink".

FAIL. soft drinks include iced teas and lemonades...which are not pops.

All pops are soft drinks but not all soft drinks are pops

Good point. ;-D

However, I have heard the terms hard-water and soft-water. Not sure what those terms mean, but they do exist.

FAIL yourself.
No such thing as a pop.

All sweet bubbly non-alcoholic drinks = soft drink.
Lemonade = soft drink
Iced tea = Iced tea
