Tough one. Who to drop for Drew

Postby Some Guy 15 » Wed May 13, 2009 11:11 am

12 Team Yahoo Roto

Drew is available and I want to pick him up.

Roster

C Soto
1b Berkman
2b Weeks
3b Wright
SS Theriot
of Braun
of Kemp
of Cruz
Util Pierre
bn Davis
bn Hawpe
bn Konerko
bn Reynolds

P Billingsley
p Gallardo
rp rivera
rp Cordero
p Wainwright
p Jiminez
p Rodriguez
bn Malholm
Dl Valverde

Who in this group should I drop? I'd hate to carry two shortstops but Theriot is not waiver wire material and is great insurance. I'm thinking Reynolds would be the odd man out with Wright and Davis capable of manning my 3b slot. I tried to trade Reynolds to no avail.

or even a better question,, is Drew even worth dropping anyone on my roster?

I think Reynolds is droppable, but he can have some significant value when he goes on a tear. The Zona offense looks pitiful right now aside from Justin. I'd actually drop Malholm though. He is your least valuable player, although it leaves you with no SP bench. Drew must be picked up though.

I was going to say Reynolds also, but Wainwright could be an option.

I agree that Malholm is the first one I would cut. After that, Reynolds. Yes, Stephen Drew should be rostered in all leagues of 10 teams or more.

Thanks for your help.
