Has Zito looked as good as his line today? I picked him up for the spot start and now I'm thinking maybe I should hold on to him?

90 Pitches through 6 for Martis, throwing a 2 Hitters, unbelieveable.

Unfortunately he probably makes it through 1 more inning.

Dude, where you been this past 3 or 4 weeks? Zito has been solid.

as long as we keep it within a save situation going into the bottom of the 9th i'm pretty sure the giants are like favored to win.

I am getting sick and tired of Bochy throwing our pitchers out there to continue pitching even though they've thrown ~6 quality innings and then NOT yanking them at the first sign of trouble. I can't even begin to imagine how inflated the rotation's numbers are just because Bochy keeps letting them kick themselves out there. He did this exact thing to Zito in his last start against the Dodgers...took a shutout into the 7th, then let Zito keep putting people on base, until Casey Blake made him pay with a bomb. Horrible.

Someday I'll have a SP start on my team, and he'll get a win, and he'll finish a game with an ERA south of 5.00 and a WHIP under 1.50. This is my dream. Someday....
