The comment Francona makes about him hoping he didn't wait too long makes me wonder...

He just cleared waivers in my league and I still don't want him on my team. I almost used my #2 claim on him. :-o

He cleared waivers in my league, but I still passed. Grabbed a better prospect, some guy named Nefi Perez.

Ortiz has got to rebound on some level, or come out with some hidden injury revelation and fade away. I keep him on my bench, should you have any room. Too many runs in that Boston line-up to pass on the chance of Big Floppi finding his swing.

Big Papi is so pathetic this year that....I couldn't even trade him for a middle reliever that gets holds. I just dropped him in a 10 team league to pick up Chris Carpenter. That is substantially more than I would have got by trading him.

He also cleared waivers in my 12 team keeper and is still and FA.

BTW, :-t :-t :-t to people who do that.

Why did someone in your league?

Nope.

He just got dropped..

I think I would have to nab him off of the FA list if he were there in one of my leagues. You never know, but free is free.
