Its a double edged sword that basically lets you accuse any player you want. .

That is what has happened here with the whole steroids issue... because basically absolutely any one of them could be on steroids. I mean, to say that because David Ortiz has gotten horrible, he must have been on steroids is kind of off base. After all, with that reasoning no one would have ever believed A-rod was doing steroids. Hes been pretty consistent since he got in the league. He is one of those players that I wouldn't have suspected before he got caught. I'm not trying to say that Ortiz was doing steroids, I'm saying that you just have to wonder about it because of what has happened. Who knows, it may be something to do with his wrist injury that is causing him to be unable to hit HRs anymore... it may be psychological (Redsox fans hope anyway).

Who can replace him?
Will they call-up?

If Trading who are they offering? (SP I'd imagine)
And what type of player can they get right now? (Or in a few weeks)

I don't know how much longer they give, Ortiz was great for them but if he gets boo'd in Boston consistently(it will happen unless he starts to play before they go back home) I can't see Francona sending him out there going 0-4 every night.

They have Chris Carter(http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/ ... rter.shtml). He has never got a legit shot before since he can't play defense and he was in Arizona before Boston. I'd imagine he gets a shot before they make a trade.
