First off, this is my first post on the site. Looks to be a great place! I am an avid fantasy player and have been for several years. My frustration and question is this. Do any of you stream pitchers or allow it in your leagues?? It started in my league that i've been playing in for the past 8 years a couple of years ago and now it's out of hand. I do spend high draft picks on pitchers because that's part of the game. I just think streaming is completely ridiculous. So, with that said, am I completely in the wrong or am I valid in my frustrations. All opinions will be appreciated!

An opinion can't really be in the wrong. It was happening in our league last year, but we implemented something to stop it. If it's allowed, you can't really get mad at people for it. Just laugh when they do it and end up with 2-3 guys in the negatives.

personally i think it's lame...i'd suggest adding a max weekly pickups to stop it

CBS wouldn't let us set it the way we wanted, so here's what we did:

We made each pickup $1.00. It's an imaginary dollar, a placeholder, if you will. The Finances page would track how many pickups each person made. You get 6 per week. If you go over, you have an illegal roster for the day you go over. If the rosters lock at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, and you make a 7th move after 12:00 PM, you get an illegal roster for Friday. It's worked so far...

I agree, it's just in poor taste. I'm in favor of the weekly max.

Weekly max is the no strings attached way to solve this as everyone has said. However, FB is about strategy, and this league allows this "strategy" to occur.

streaming sucks...but sounds like its too late to "correct" it this year. come up with something for next year and make sure everyone knows well before the draft
