Slumping Team, Trade to Jumpstart? WHIR

Postby Backhouse » Tue May 12, 2009 4:53 pm

Hey guys, I'm wondering whether to pull the trigger on a deal.

I give up Bobby Abreu and Manny Parra
I receive Justin Upton and Johnny Cueto

Thoughts? I'm really struggling in pitching right now. Does Upton keep this up?

Thanks

If your team's slumping, you have nothing to lose - take the risk!

It's close. Cueto's been really hot, and Parra's been crap. Abreu is the exact definition of consistent, but Upton's hot and has tons of potential. I'd go for it.

I like the deal for you. Cueto's has been hot and I think he will continue to have a great season (maybe not at this pace). I think Upton has great potential. Do the deal!

Thanks for the help with mine! Sorry for the delay!
