He sees a lot of pitches. I've seen him hit maybe a dozen times, and havent seen him swing at a bad pitch yet. He seems to have trouble catching up with the curve, but 15 walks in 90 PAs is nothing to scoff at. Without fail a high walk rate = decent fantasy numbers in the long run.
Morgan Ensberg says high~
But yeah advanced plate discipline is something I like to see in a young player.

I haven't seen him play, does anyone have an updated opinion on him? From what I've read, I think he could still provide some value after an adjustment period. I haven't been able to analzye whether or not he's been slow to adjust when promoted to higher levels of competition. If anyone could provide some additional thoughts it would be appreciated.
I've got him on one of my teams as well, and I got semi high hopes still. Gonna ride it out a few more weeks with him

Not a bad day today- 4 for 5 with a couple doubles and a SB. He's leading off now which could be nice and I like that he's walking 1 of every 5 ABs (walks count in my league). Could be a nice utility player if he becomes consistent.

He's all of a sudden batting over .270 after hitting .200 most of May (his first month up). Now might be a good time to add him if you need a little flexibility on your roster. He also has 3 SBs in his last 10 games.

dropped him a week or two ago
takes lot of pitches for a youngster, great sign. it's too bad there is not much going on behind him or he could really score some runs.
one more decent game in day or two and he really gets gobbled up in mixed 12 team leagues
