The call is fine IMO. I have rewatched it several times now. But I've been on the wrong side of these losses and I definitely understand your disappointment. And it's not as if the Mets didn't have calls go against them this game: phantom tag on Reyes at 3B, CS of Wright , and perhaps a little more debatable Gonzalez BALKing.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Assuming we are talking about the same play (I didnt see the entire game), Wright was out. His left hand was on KJ's foot and his right hand never touched the base.
Har.de.har.har. KC is an instigator and apparently Haymarket needs glasses as bad as the ump who made the call!

Really?? I watched the Braves telecast and they showed one angle that showed his left hand was blocked by KJ's foot and another angle that showed his right hand never touched the base. Watching Wright's reaction even gave me the impression that he knew he was out. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a Braves homer, and it's sucks to have lost a game like that, but I'm sure the Braves will win a game like that at some point and I won't feel the least bit bad about it.
Heh. IDK. I tell you what's strange. I haven't had Braves fans busting my chops for like 2 years. This is very retro.
