Great win. :-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Beltran was out. It was close, but clear.

Couple this with the ground rule double that cost the Braves another run in the 7th, and a Braves bullpen that just stinks, and this one was a little gift wrapped up and hand delivered to the Mets.

I'm trading away Gonzales and dropping Francouer as soon as possible.

Really? A blown call gives you the tying run in the bottom of the ninth, and you call that a great win? :-°

Sorry. Pissed off Braves fan. I hate games decided by bad calls, especially when my team is on the losing side of things.

Funny you say you hate bad calls and I don't see your post in the topic complaining about the umpire when Wright was clearly safe at 2nd on the steal that ended the inning.

Completely understood. I'd feel the same way if I were you. I know this means nothing, but at least it was a bang bang play...if it is clearly blown call, it hurts the most. Again, I know that is hollow, but it's truly how I feel. I've seen the Mets on the wrong side enough to know it hurts.

Yes, it is a win. I'm not sure about the "great" part. "Fortunate" maybe?
