I hope the Braves can keep this hitting up. I'm not as concerned about the pitching from Lowe/Jurrjens.

Predictions(I'm always wrong on these)

Braves win 7-3

MCCann 2 RBI
Francoeur 1RBI
Escobar 1RBI
Jones 2 RBI
Anderson 1RBI (Solo HR)

Jurrjens 6.2IP 3k 2BB 1ER
Moylan 1.1IP 2ER 1K
Soriano 1.0IP 2K

I don't like Manuel batting Murphy 3rd and Wright 5th with Delgado out. I don't mind Beltran 3rd and Wright 5th when Delgado is in, but this is lunacy, IMO.

Yeah really odd batting order. Big Pelf looking good though and Omir continues to impress. ;-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

What happened to Wright? I had to run out for a second and missed the play...but listening to it on 660 Howie Rose made it sound like he was injured. Is that the case?

I felt the same as well, Crazy lineup IMO. But it look's like it's easier for the Braves to handle so I'm glad.

The Mets have been pounding bad pitching lately, but once a good pitcher gets up there, they can't hit a lick. Kind of frustrating. :-[

Isn't that was usually happens to most teams? doesn't that make one pitcher "bad" and one pitcher "good"? :-?

Yes, but you know what I mean. :-b

Lowe is a good pitcher, but they still should have been able to score 3-4 runs on him. Same with Jurrjens. But they can't even muster 3 hits. And every once in a while, you touch up an ace for a 6 spot. But not the Mets.

But yes, runs are harder to come by when you pitch against a good pitcher. But not this hard...
