Despite his slow start, I'd start Alexei over Hudson. Hudson's numbers were hugely inflated having Manny Ramirez batting behind him in the order, so his numbers are going to start falling south really quick. Ignore the fact that Ethier is batting behind him now, as his numbers were bulked up by Manny even more so than Hudson. Alexei appears to be turning things around, but you never know with guys this young. Just my two cents.

Albert Pujols is to baseball what Jesus is to religion. He's better at this than I've ever been at anything in my life. He's better at this than you'll ever be, at anything. Pujols has a gift.

Could be worse... at least you have Figgins and managed to grab Pierre. But that clearly means a loss of power hitting. I would keep Spilborghs and Konerko on the bench unless they have a favorable matchup or they're playing hot and someone in your regular lineup is on a cold streak. I definitely would not start Alexei until he puts a couple of multi-hit games together. He's not even guaranteed a spot in Chicago's starting lineup at this point... Ozzie Guillen is just as fed up with him as fantasy owners are. I don't think there's much else you can do, other than try to deal some of your speed for a big power bat (perhaps buy low on a guy like Pat Burrell). Good luck!

I would play Hudson. I would sit Ethier since Manny is out. Hang onto Manny and trade Aramis. Put in Konerko.

I actually dropped Burrell a couple weeks ago because I had alot of power and no speed (got Ichiro in a trade) and he's still on FA. Who would you drop for him?

I would drop Spilborghs for Burrell. You really need him back on your team now. Assuming he starts hitting for power that is. No reason to think he won't...
