Maybe not an total trade idea, but some analysis on his roster strategy:

The guy only has 2 hitters on the bench, both of whom are high-reward kids. Most of his bench consists of SP. This makes me believe that you have daily roster moves, and he is smart enough to own several SP because the SP lineup spots are the only ones on the starting roster that have guys that you KNOW will not play on certain days.

You are not going to acquire your catcher in this deal most likely, unless Wieters gets called up tomorrow and plays every day. The guy simply does not have one to trade away.

My question is why do you want to uproot Zimmerman in favor of Longoria? Zimmerman is only 11 months older than Longoria, and if you look at '08 and '09 stats, there isnt a huge different in the numbers that they are putting up. The difference is probably not worth the price you are going to have to pay to acquire the more hyped Longoria.

I think that if a deal is to be made, it is one of your OF for a SP from him. His weakness is OF, which is your point of depth. Hawpe for Garza?

I wouldn't trade Lee for Beckett.

The other guys offense is terrible. How bout Braun and Zimmerman for Longoria and a lower tier starter.

With the way Felipe Lopez is hitting, you could put him with Braun For Longoria. Maybe even Longoria+Kawakami or some other low-end guy.
