WHIR Just some thoughts on my keeper league squad

Postby yoshi99 » Mon May 11, 2009 12:23 pm

waddup fellas would appreciate your advice on my keeper squad, the league is now in it's fourth year, each year we keep 6 players. It's a yahoo 12 team H2H keeper league that is 8x8.
C- Pablo Sandoval/ Matt Weiters
1B- Mark Texeira
2B- Alexei Ramirez
SS- Troy Tulowitzki
3B- Scott Rolen
OF- Grady Sizemore, Nate McClouth, Justin Upton
UTIL- Lance Berkman
SP- Roy Halladay, Ricky Nolasco, Yovanni Gallardo, Manny Parra, Brett Cecil, Phil Hughes
RP- Brian Fuentes, Matt Capps, Brandon Morrow, Jose Arredondo, Grant Balfour
I'm honestly pretty happy with this team i'm currently in 6th, any advice would be much appreciated

Ha, my hitting looks very similar to yours, I also have Sandoval, Teixeira, Ramirez, Rolen, and Sizemore. Your team looks good, the only thing I would try to do is add a dependable RP. I also have Fuentes, and I dont trust him for a second. It seems every game he pitches he has runners on base.

I would drop Phil Hughes... he's had back-to-back horrifying starts, and there's rumors circling that Cashman is going to accelerate Chien Ming Wang's timetable to get him back in the rotation and send Hughes back to WSB.
Albert Pujols is to baseball what Jesus is to religion. He's better at this than I've ever been at anything in my life. He's better at this than you'll ever be, at anything. Pujols has a gift.
