So I think Hill's line from tonight will read 5.2 IP, 2 ER, 5 H, 6 K's, and 2 BB (1 intentional). Very close to putting up a quality start on his first game in 09.
Anyone see him pitch or have an opinion on how he did? Any flashes of 2007 tonight? Could he be fantasy viable again?

The curveball was still there, and thats his money pitch. He threw too many early balls in counts, but otherwise, it was a solid first start. Im not activating him yet, but I could see him as a starter in 2-start weeks.
A lot of the time he seemed unable to locate his fastball, so he got behind a lot. Took him a while to get comfortable throwing the curve, I think, but once he did, it was pretty sweet. Not a ton of velocity, but as far as I know he never threw all that hard. If he can just get his fastball command to be a little better I think he'll be pretty good.
Watched his start against the Nationals. Same deal this time as last, basically. Can't locate the fastball, but the curveball is sick. He got behind too many guys, even with a pretty generous strikezone. Still need to give him some more time, of course, but he's got some work to do.
