Wieters just dropped! Do i make a move to stash him? *WHIR*

Matt Wieters was just dropped in my 10team H2H league. The owner was decimated by injuries and could no longer afford to stash Wieters. That being said, do i spend a waiver on Wieters? I'm currently 6th on the WW, but I think i have a legit shot at getting him if i go after him.

If i do go after him, who do i drop? (maybe Meche, since Lackey and Dice-K are almost back?)

I currently have Sandoval at the C spot, here lately he's been hitting for a better average and having a couple more RBI chances, since they moved him in front of Bengie Molina in the lineup (Molina is a dead weight on the base paths). But his power numbers are not ideal. Do i make the move to acquire Wieters?

I don't think you should. You have Lackey in a DL spot so you will have to drop someone to get him off and Meche would be the only guy on your team I'd drop. You should try to trade you surplus of outfielders for SP.

Same. Only other option is to drop Adam Jones or Justin Upton.

I'd prob. drop Meche to get Weiters (if he'll fall to you on the WW first) then maybe try to trade Justin Upton for a SP. Must try and do it while Upton is hitting b/c 1. your not starting him over any of your other OF's, and 2. it's not a keeper league so no real reason your keeping him IMO.

In a keeper league I would probably drop Meche for him, if not a keeper I probably wouldn't bother with him.

so what's the verdict?
Wieters clears waivers tomorrow (May 13)
i'm going to have to drop someone once (soria, lackey, dice-K) come all off the dl.
Soria isn't eligible until May 23, which is the latest projected date of all of them.
Meche doesn't pitch until May 14, and I feel I need his K and QS this week
I'm trying to trade my surplus OF, i've got a couple things i'm working on (one of them involves getting Soto)
whould you rather have Soto than Wieters?
or
should i just drop Meche and spend a waiver on Wieters? (whats the latest projection on a wieters call up?)
