His Braun for my Ibanez and Hill!! WHIR as always!

Postby Therobsclub » Mon May 11, 2009 12:38 am

Alright here is the deal:

His Braun for my Ibanez and Hill.... I have Brandon Phillips burning a hole on my bench where Hill is a good sell high. Braun would increase the OF for sure! Damon has been a stud so far while Vlad has been on the DL for me.

The other trade he is proposing is Braun and Soria/Valverde (one or the other) for Hill, Ibanez, and Joba. Both Soria and Valverde are on the DL and not sure what to do about that, but would like to add saves. Joba's whip has been unbelievable and he will rarely hit 7 innings. Also rumors of him going to bullpen later in the year to limit innings.....So whats the best bet? Owner also has Chad Qualls. The only starting pitcher on the other team I would want would be AJ Burnett as his SP is slim pickins.

Anyways what should I do? I def would do the first trade I think, but do I take the chance at someone on the DL?

Although I believe Ibanez will have a solid year, this is a great sell-high. Braun's a definite upgrade to that OF, and having Phillips on the bench is great insurance. He'll work it out, while I'm not sure Hill will be able to keep this up. Make the trade, and don't think twice about it.
