Postby bcbhockey68 » Mon May 11, 2009 12:37 am

Oof. Zimmerman has been playing really well, I don't know if you need to really upgrade him. I can see more problems in your starting pitching (Marquis, Anibal, Sean Marshall). If anything I'd maybe try and get Halladay/Danks/Wright for Zimmerman/Braun/Maholm maybe, shifting Wright to 3B and using Hawpe, Upton, or Beltre at the open/util OF spots. Might be asking for way too much though, but it's a start.

Help on mine? viewtopic.php?t=384303

That might be a little much but would Braun, Zimmy, and Maholm get me Wright and Halladay?

I wouldn't trade Wright and Halladay for those 3 so unless he is an idiot for the hot hand(Zimm) it wouldn't get accepted. You are asking for 2 elite players for 1.

I'd forget Wright and go for pitching, I think the price for Wright would be to high plus Zimm should put up decent numbers. Maybe Braun for Halladay+closer. I'd start Braun for Halladay+Broxton and if he doesn't accept he should counter since he could really use and OFer. You can take the hit in the outfield since you already have 2 keepers there imo and it would make your pitching staff alot stronger.
